Trade

The Top Guns and Off in the Woods have announced a deal that will send Chris Cooley, the # 3 pick, and the #8 pick to Off in exchange for the #5 pick, the #16 pick, and former Permian Panther, Roy Williams. Both teams are said to be excited about the deal, especially Guns GM Lt. Pete Mitchell (aka Maverick) who said: "...it's like in chess. first you strategically position your pieces..and when the timings right. You Strike."
That is an Independence Day reference for all you less fortunate out there.

Hangin's Drafting Techniques

Hangin's Tony Danza will most likely keep his streak alive at the 2008 GOM Draft. It's not one to be proud of... The streak happens when his list of players (usually written on toilet paper) runs short on offensive players and ends up drafting cornerbacks from Boston College. Recently it has been CB Will Blackmon to get the nod from Hangin. This years front runner is DeJaun Tribble (above). The man just knows how to scout.

It's Mock Draft Season!

Dime Frustrated

After trying endlessly to acquire Adrian Peterson, Dime GM Nick Lachey couldn't take it anymore. After approximately 96 straight hours without sleep, and without a deal, Dime went on a 4 day bender...that commenced with this photo, courtesy of TMZ. To Dime's right, a familiar face, the artist formerly known at BTR. When confronted my media members, Dime's response was a curt "get off me!". As for allegations that BTR put Dime up to the bender, in an attempt to acquire Reginald Q. Bush....BTR responded with "sonofacmon....you caught me!"

Walton Kicks off Mini-Camp

As is tradition at Dawlinator camp, the team kicked off its mini-camp in typical Mark Dawley fashion this morning, where players and coaches alike spend the first 4 weeks "getting acquainted" and working on balace drills.

Congrats Co

Well done Co - Hopefully you didn't have diarrhea, blood, and urine running down your leg at the finish line like Uta Pippig (who I think is the Degeneres-like lady in the pic). Could have made for an awkward ride home on the team bus. I still think your GOM Draft video was your best accomplishment yet besides the title, but this sounds nice too. Congrats

-Bill

Co wins!

Gettysburg College senior Ryan Keane, a Hopkinton native, was the was the top Div. III finisher in both the 200-meter dash (22.28) and 400-meter dash (48.91) at the Penn Invitational last week. ...

Petey Photoshop

I'd like to commend whoever it was that actually took Mark Dawleys body, and photoshopped Bill Waltons face on it. What artwork!! And finding those pictures of Mark in his Blazers jersey had to be tough to come by!
