Davis, 27, was arrested at the Samba Steakhouse and Sushi at 1138 Worcester Road around 2 a.m., after the assault was witnessed by a cop on a detail, police spokesman Lt. He saw a man, later identified as Davis, yelling at a woman with several other people standing nearby.``He saw Davis, with two fists closed, strike the victim under both eyes at the same time,'' Shastany said.Davis and the woman, whom police did not identify, began wrestling and Lewis and Samba security had to pull the combatants apart.``Davis continued to assault this female, throwing wild punches at the officer, security and this woman,'' Shastany said.Davis was handcuffed after a brief struggle. The woman's eyes were left swollen and red after the attack, police said. They had never met.''Davis, of 14 Greenview St., was charged with two counts of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was released without bail after his Framingham District Court arraignment yesterday and is due back in court on June 9 for a pretrial conference.
