New Face of the Franchise?

Although Bear and the crew have been quiet this offseason, it doesn't mean they haven't been active. A report from Dillon, Texas and verified by the Crusader, is that Smash Williams has reached an agreement with the 15's to become head Running Back coach. After having his scholarship revoked from TMU (which isn't a real college), Smash followed Charlie Conway's advice and looked for the clipboard instead of the helmet. "I think this is a great opportunity for me and think that both Steven [Jackson] , Will [Parker] and the rest of the backs will benefit from me bringing my championship caliber running to the 01610." Williams said when contacted at Church this past Sunday. His Mom quickly hung up the phone before any more questions could be asked.
When asked about what the 15's running game needed to work on, Bear replied, "TD's. Period. Yards are good, but they mean nothing if Willy is just gonna give his TD's to Davenport. Instead of running the ball to the 3 yard line and coming out, we want Willy and Steven to put in that extra effort and get us those points. We think that Smash will help us with that. His toughness that he showed in the movie theatre defending his sister and the way he handled the media and the recruiting process showed his maturity which we hope will both help and inspire our guys. We done hear 'cause I got to set the world record for naked jumping jacks done in the artic circle. . ."
