The possible emergence of Calvin Johnson. I've written about him before, but I want to talk about him again. Why is the fact that Johnson stands 6-5 so significant? Consider that six of the eight top-ranked fantasy wide receivers stand at least 6-3. Because he was last year's No. 2 overall selection in the NFL draft, we already know Johnson is highly regarded, and his elite size has a lot to do with that. When most secondaries have players standing at 6-0 (or shorter), I can't help but be excited about his development. We could have said the same thing about Mike Williams (6-5) and Charles Rogers (6-3), but I just get a different feeling about Johnson.
